Dämpfer für Posaune!
Dämpfer werden eingesetzt um die Klangfarbe bzw. die Lautstärke des Instrumentes zu verändern. Bei Blechblasinstrumenten ist der Dämpfer ein Hohlkörper aus Holz, Metall oder Kunststoff der in den Schalltrichter gesteckt wird. Bei der Trompete werden überwiegend Metalldämpfer (Aluminium, Kupfer) verwendet.
Bei einem Cup (engl. für Tasse) ist die Tasse verstellbar, dadurch können verschiedene Klangfarben erzeugt werden. Der Sound über diesen Dämpfer ist relativ weich.
