I bought the bench because of my back problems so that I could sit straight and upright at the correct height at my desk.
The piano bench looks exactly as shown in the picture (cherry wood) and I am overjoyed to be able to sit upright and stable at my desk.
Nothing wobbles and nothing creaks. However, the bench is not really non-slip (especially not on tiled floors), but that doesn't bother me.
I might order another one, because I also want to be able to sit high enough at the dining table...........
