Pronomic MCM-100 Instrumental Microphone - there's a lot of microphone inside!
It does not matter what instrument you clamp the MCM-100 to - it always makes for a great look and great sound. With its flexible 13.5 cm gooseneck, the microphone can be put in an optimal position. The optional holders and clips stay in place without damaging the instrument. Thanks to the very small capsule with foam covering and the slender gooseneck, this microphone is always discreet.
First-Class
Thanks to the high-quality, vibration-neutral capsule, the MCM-100 captures the natural sound of your instrument without distorting it. The directional characteristics ensure that other sound sources are minimized, and a clean sound is produced.
Easy to use
The XLR phantom power adapter is connected by a screw cap, preventing crackling sounds and accidental disconnection.
Well-stored
For the safe transport of the MCM-100, there is a system case included, protecting your microphone from dust, dirt and damage. The spaces for additional holders are already in the case allowing you to store all your holders in one place.
Attach, clip, and go!
The soft, flexible rubber surface of the Pronomic microphone holder ensures non-slip contact with the instrument without leaving behind any residue. Simply clamp the microphone holder in place using the included hook & loop closure, and you are good to go!
Of course, the MCH-100F can be used on various flutes, such as the flute, piccolo, and recorder.

Due to Newton's laws of leverage, the mounting shifts the center of gravity of the instrument.
Since Corona we know that with queer flutes sound and aerosols come out at the sound hole,
so better models are mounted closer to the mouthpiece.

Questions about product
Question by Jonas Manthey on 13.11.2023
Hello, I need the microphone for playing various Native flutes through an amplifier. I have connected the microphone to two different amplifiers, but the microphone does not seem to work. Can you help me with this? Otherwise I will have to return the microphone
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
This microphone is a condenser microphone that requires 48V phantom power. Most amplifiers do not provide this phantom power. You can find external phantom power here: https://www.kirstein.de/Mikrofonzubehoer/Pronomic-PP-10-Phantomspeisung.html?
Question by Erdmuthe on 12.05.2021
Can you use this mic with the PC?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Since this microphone requires a so-called phantom power (i.e. a type of supply voltage), it cannot be operated directly on a PC. A mixing console or audio interface is needed that can provide this supply voltage.
