Even at 5W you can play quietly and with a rich sound.
I used to have the DSL 5c and I think the 5 CR does everything better - subjectively.
Clean is very nice and doesn't break when turned up louder even LP sounds clean with great headroom.
I don't miss the 12" speaker in this amp.
Second channel is very, very good, sounds all the way defined and touch dynamic without mashing a real Marshall, really a lot of fun to play with him.
Has everything an amp should have.takes very good pedals- a couple I have out, I no longer need eg.distortion.
Equalizer - there is something, not like many amps you turn and happens nothing.
Reverb is discreet for me is enough.

Is it possible to connect headphones to this amplifier? And if so, what should be considered with regard to the headphones? Impedance or the like? One would like to play sometimes WITHOUT the whole household to sound :-)

A headphone jack is not available on this amp. In general, transistor amps are well suited for home use, as they can develop their full sound potential even at lower volumes.
