For the price a really great amp with a very wide range of applications. From clean to heavy, the small covers pretty much everything you can expect from an amp of this size. For a single 12" speaker, the Celestion already makes quite a lot of pressure. Even high levels of distortion hardly upset it and it still sounds very differentiated. The amp itself offers many possibilities through its tone control and the two channels and brings enough power to be able to keep up in the band structure.

Even at 5W you can play quietly and with a rich sound.
I used to have the DSL 5c and I think the 5 CR does everything better - subjectively.
Clean is very nice and doesn't break when turned up louder even LP sounds clean with great headroom.
I don't miss the 12" speaker in this amp.
Second channel is very, very good, sounds all the way defined and touch dynamic without mashing a real Marshall, really a lot of fun to play with him.
Has everything an amp should have.takes very good pedals- a couple I have out, I no longer need eg.distortion.
Equalizer - there is something, not like many amps you turn and happens nothing.
Reverb is discreet for me is enough.
