Die LTD Snakebyte ist ein Modell der Signature Series von James Hetfield, dem Frontmann von Metallica und einem der weltweit angesehensten Rhythmusgitarristen aller Genres.
Die Snakebyte wurde auf der Grundlage von James' eigenem Originaldesign entwickelt. Sie verfügt über eine Set-Neck-Konstruktion mit 24,75" Mensur, einen Mahagoni-Korpus und einen dreiteiligen Mahagoni-Hals mit Ebenholz-Griffbrett und 22 Extra-Jumbo-Bünden mit einer Snake-Einlage am 12. Bund.
Die LTD Snakebyte wird von James' eigenen aktiven EMG JH SET-Tonabnehmern angetrieben und ist mit einer TonePros TOM-Brücke und einem TonePros-Tailpiece ausgestattet.
