However, I would have imagined at this price (44.- €) something more.
With my KB PSR-S970 the adapter is not of great advantage.

The Bluetooth MIDI adapter is definitely worth the money. Unfortunately, it is not mentioned anywhere that there is also an app from Yamaha, with which the MD-BT01 can receive firmware updates and the device can be renamed. The appropriate app is only available in the iPhone apps if you look at all apps from Yamaha. Can't find it via search term and it's called 'YAMAHA MD-BT01/UD-BT01 Utility' (MD-BT01/UD-BT01 Utility from Yamaha Corporation https://appsto.re/de/IPDA_.i )... Otherwise, it works flawlessly via setup directly in apps that support midi.

Use the Yamaha Bluetooth receiver for a few weeks with my long-time Yamaha PSR 450 keyboard. It is connected via Ipad Air and is used the software Synthesia. Works right away, no delays in the input of the keyboard and the response in Synthesia. Stable connection. No beeping. In my experience, the best solution to establish a midi connection using a terminal device. For Ios to recognize the receiver, Synthesia must have recognized it first. Ios will then also find the Bluetooth receiver.
