There is not much to say about the instrument, except that I wavered between the FG-TA and the LL-TA. In the end the color of the TA won. Looks really nice in real life. After playing it, I'm not only satisfied with the color, but also with the sound. Fits perfectly to the blues and really assertive in the band. Recommendable.
Delivery also very fast and well packaged.

Hello, I was interested in a variant of the transacoustic guitars from Yamaha. Previously already times on a ITB Berlin practically explained and demonstrated. Then tried in the shop at my place and already further considered. Afterwards with an acquaintance in a band project directly experienced. Now I found a Kirstein offer, where I found my favorite components and decided to buy. The shipping worked out exactly as planned with express shipping. So now I could examine this Yamaha guitar FG-TA Black myself and was very happy about my decision. Very solid playability, sound without as with transacoustic technology prima, strings Elixir well selected, tuning stability with the mechanics pleasant. Everything in excellent quality. The only limitation for me from the current point of view is the not optimal varnish, where you can see the brushwork quite clearly in the appropriate light. this was unknown and new to me even with black guitars. Hmm, the bottom line, the tonal side so excellent. The visual side of the finish not quite so. Overall, I'm looking forward to the possibilities of playing and also presenting in a smaller setting without any necessary additional technology. Because then the transacoustic technology is particularly effective. And next year there will be another interesting band project, then with the Yamaha FG-TA as support. I bought the guitar because I wanted to learn to play the guitar. The sound is great. My guitar teacher is also enthusiastic about the instrument. The effects are also very good. I would buy the instrument again and again.

I decided to buy the Yamaha FG-TA because of the detailed advice at Kirstein.
decided. I was not clear how reverb and chorus should work without amplification.
I do not know that now also so exactly, but the effects are simply the hammer.
The guitar already sounds very harmonious and balanced without the electronics, but here you get a real innovation that sets new standards in the acoustic field.
Just test it, your ears will make eyes!

Guitar also good but point deduction goes to sound amplifier (TransAcoustic series) with which was advertised for the instrument, which ultimately moved me to purchase.
After several days of trying sound amplification seems unnatural to me and only applicable in the intensity-low range. Therefore, it is for me an unnecessary gimmick made in China. Guitar I intend to keep although I have a queasy feeling to pay something that was not included. TA will be turned off and guitar enjoyed without.
