I have now been playing for a week with my brand new XDrum DD-670 e-kit and I really recommend this kit! It cost under 1000 euros and I think that I got value of much more expensive e-drum kit. Sounds great, looks like a acoustic set, they are really fun to play. No complaints!

I like the XDrum DD-670 very much. It is fun to play on it. The workmanship is 1A. It looks like an acoustic drum kit which I like very much. There are many settings that you can make. Zbs Rock, Metal, PoP, And much more. You can always set the appropriate sound depending on the music style you want to play. Otherwise, it is from the volume of the pads pleasantly quiet. There are no rattling noises or anything else. It is all very high quality workmanship.
For this price, a very good drum set.

For the price, this drum kit is of very good quality in terms of hardware.
The playing on this drum kit is very realistic.
It really makes very little noise.
I can even play on it at night without disturbing the neighbors.
To be sure, I put the set on a stage with tennis balls underneath to suppress any pedaling noise.
Really a top drum set!

Makes really fun and is really recommendable for all hobby drummers where it should not be too loud.

Great drums, very realistic thanks to the drums made like the acoustic versions and therefore very nice to play. If the internal sounds should not be enough, sound card and pc with software and it gets even better. Excellent possibility of extension with second floor tom.
The only flaw in the Charleston sometimes lost a few strokes, solved with a control unit reset.
By the way, delivery arrived a few days earlier than expected.
I recommend it even to the most demanding!

I had to choose between this kit and other kits of competing brands, I didn't find much information about it apart from some youtube videos of a private person. In the end I also trusted the kirstein store, I must say very reliable and especially the 3 year warranty.
Let's move on to the battery:
To give an overall grade I would say 8 out of 10, in fact it is a good kit, well made, although smaller in size than a small acoustic drum set it still makes a good impression. The size is comparable to an acoustic drum kit for kids.
The pads are very well made and are made of wood, the skins are well stretched and the sensors are well placed, they do their job well except for some flaw in the rim-shot function (hitting the edge)... very often it is not well distinguished the hit on the edge instead of the center of the drum pad.
The other flaw is the charlestone, very difficult to set, does not emit very good sound at the opening but is acceptable.
The cymbals are fine even if someone said that they have a slightly lower sensitivity for me are fine.
Manual in Italian is missing.

Very nice set aesthetically with good materials, very good software part too. The mesh skins are very quiet. I found that the assembly instructions, among other things only in German, are not very clear. Personally I found at the beginning an alternate functioning of the crash 1, also in the choke function, then restored by itself, I hope it is not defective. Having bought the complete set, I have problems with the stool, even well fixed the main rod moves, creating slight instability. Overall great product for its price range ... and therefore great purchase. Congratulations to Kirstein, I will certainly buy again.
Very good drum set at an excellent price.

I have had this drum set for two weeks and I want to give a short survey of what I like. I used to own an early generation Roland TD kit (forgot the exact one) and I hated playing frame, being too limited in my movements. The openness is what drew me to this kit in the first place. It is essentially a real drum set. I am still playing around with settings and haven't quite developed a full understanding of the set yet, but I can only recommend it.
Before I start, I use Vic Firth 5B Hickory on my regular set, but these are too heavy for this kit. A 5A made of Maple is probably best.
Pros:
1) I have to start with the price. It fit into my budget and it fit my criteria of both space (couldn't be too big) and modulability (I can move the pieces around).
2) The size of the toms is impeccable.
3) The feel of the heads is stunning. You get a decent bounce, however (as one does with mesh heads).
4) It is quite easy to put together (with caveats).
5) You have a massive amount of sounds to choose from. It's in fact a bit overwhelming, but that will give you a good amount of time before you get tired of the sounds.
6) It's relatively easy to set up, even you don't have a thorough understanding of drums.
7) The triggering is quite accurate (frustratingly so, in fact).
Cons (these aren't really cons or complaints).
1) The sounds are perhaps too electronic. It's not a huge problem in se, and at the price, the sounds are quite realistic. They are on par with what I have experienced of even more expensive digital kits. A computer can help fix that if you're recording.
2) When I angled the tom, the module arm was twisting due to the vibrations.
3) The high hat open/medium open setting is not working well. There is a way to fix it, but ...
4) and this is really my only complaint: the manual is not super clear, especially when it comes to calibration of the heads, and even less so when dealing with the High Hat. Some explanations are too technical. It will take time and playing around to really figure out.
Notwithstanding the criticism above, I can only recommend buying this set. My past experience with a digital drum set was not at all pleasant, and I was reluctant to invest in one, but circumstances oblige... So far my experience has been extremely positive and I am quite happy. I think drummers of all levels will find the set accommodating and pleasant.
LASTLY: Kirstein has been amazing and customer support prompt. You can email with questions and they'll answer quickly and expertly.

I have ordered me, as a complete beginner with some musical feeling, after long research the XDrum DD670 at the online shop of Musikhaus Kirstein. So far I've been able to practice 2 weeks on it and must say that I make quite fast first progress.
I like the look of course very much and it was decisive for the purchase, but it is rather the overall package, which you get for under 1,000, - Euro.
A detailed description of the stes I save me at this point...that make Kirstein and YouTube much better than me. Nevertheless, I would like to briefly describe my impressions:
What I like very much:
Optics, almost like a 'real' drum kit, the size of the pads is really great.
Workmanship of most parts really good.
Scope of delivery (as a set) for the price really good.
Goes like this:
Some of the sounds are not really intoxicating...just ok for a start.
Overall size...I'm 1.91cm tall...and the toms are maximum at the same height as the snare...a little bigger/flexible tom and cymbal stand would be super....
Processing of the drum stool, which is included in the set is rather weak...in the highest setting I sometimes have a rather wobbly feeling...however, it is also not a price driver...
No dedicated midi in and out...and not described in the included manual either. According to a YouTube video, Windows computers without an audio interface have a hard time with midi note processing...I have yet to figure out how to connect the module to, say, a Steinberg interface. However, it was clear before that the module has only a USB to Midi connection...
Conclusion:
Practicing with headphones is really fun and I am surprised myself about the progress and the desire to go on and on...I have to watch the time ;-)
That it is not the highest quality HighEnd e-Drum was also clear at the price...but what I got for under 1000, - Euro, I am more than satisfied (Thanks to the drum freaks for your test videos)...with time, certainly a few things are supplemented, but for the beginning it is always enough.
The delivery of the entire set was prompt and complete...everything was super packed.
Provided that the quality proves itself, I will gladly order again from Musikhaus Kirstein.

1. between order and delivery date passed a few days, but this was clearly communicated. *5 stars*. 2.
2. the delivery itself was flawless. Announced time was kept and ordenltich delivered *5 stars *.
3. the drums themselves: i couldn't test anything, so i only had the product videos as reference. And of course the videos on the 650 from drumfreaks.de - a big praise to all involved. Very, very good!!!
What I wanted was a way to start again after more than 25 years. In the basement. Preferably without turning the neighborhood against me. So: e-drums
What I also wanted, a good price/performance/sound/user-friendly ratio. A lot of things were ruled out from the start because of the price. And sounds ... well ... they are always a matter of taste. In the end it was crucial for me that I can edit the sound if necessary.
And both price/performance fit with the DD-670, it has mesh-heads, it looks like a real set, has good sounds and is user-friendly. Whereby the sounds could not be tested on site by me. Therefore, praise again to Drumfreaks.de!
Briefly summarized:
Delivered in 3 big boxes that contained everything that was ordered and a few little surprises. Velcro binders and sticks for example.
The set up:
Idiot-proof... so this was no hurdle :-) In the very last box I have then found the assembly instructions... there was the beautiful thing but already built up where it should go.
The materials:
In my eyes and according to my feeling, it is all very valuable. Please don't forget what it all costs. And if I add it all up, add it, subtract it and put it through an equation again, it's really a very, very nice set!
And if you want more, you have to spend more money!
From my point of view - so far only the big brands have been tested in Munich - I have no advantage if I put another thousand on top. Not for my wishes!
Top-Drums!!!
The sound:
And here I can only say: all a matter of taste, certainly. But you can edit the sounds, have a lot of sounds you can distribute to the pads... and if that's not enough, well, then switch your computer in between and play via some SW solution.
From my point of view there are decent sounds coming out... I've been playing mostly just two presets for the last two weeks... run my favorite songs in parallel and just have fun with the sound, with playing.
Who puts a thousand on top because he thinks there are even better sounds... then that may be true, but for my requirements has been delivered here really a very, very good sound package. The module is easy to use. For the setting options look at the videos of Drumfreaks.de ... there it is indeed the DD-650, but the same scheme.
The feel:
Well... it's not the set's fault that I'm a bit rusty at 44 :-)
But the feel is top! Surely it is something different to play on an acoustic set... but as already written... my requirements are and were "get back into it and have fun!" => and for that I have to say, it's fun every day again and again!
Conclusion:
Someone with similar/comparable requirements will be more than satisfied here! Very clear buy recommendation!
I play every day... the sounds fit.... I edit a bit... the chops are starting to come back... and I'm afraid I'm going to turn my neighbors against me soon. With something acoustic!
