Hello here at Sjaak; At first I didn't expect much from it, but nevertheless I think the Bakkie is great, the reverb is exactly the sound I like, exactly that rockabilly sound from the 50s & 60s, at least you don't need an extra reverb delay effect for that, If you want to use an extra effects pedal it's advisable to turn off the power switch when turning it on and off, you get a loud bang sound when you turn the footswitch off or on, I only had that with a Marshall reverb pedal, but it didn't bother me when I used a MOOER GE 100, not even with a Cuvave Cube Baby, the overdrive is blazing fast, this box is very sensitive. Despite the bang sound with the Marshall reverb pedal (turn on the pedal first and then the power switch), I find this guitar combo good value. Minus point is that there is no line and speaker output, for line out you can use the headphone output, but this does not work as a speaker output or you have to connect it through an additional amplifier. Send and return work fine, end finish nice for the beginner guitarist or as a practice combo and with the headphone jack you don't have to worry about what the neighbors think. With the amplifier you have everything on board what you need first so to play guitar.a Clearchannel and an Overdrivechannel.the can be regulated over a wide range and has a good basic sound.so should sound electric guitar.
The individual rest can be adjusted with bass, mids, treble and presence controls.In addition, there is still reverb.So already quite a lot of ways to influence the sound.
For those who are not satisfied with that, there are still countless effect devices on the market, which can be connected via an extra effect path if you wish.
And if you want it to sound a bit more acoustic and pure, there is the above mentioned clear channel.
From the sound of the device is definitely ok and at the volume you definitely do not need to worry as a "private user".you can also play quietly with a few friends together,power and volume are enough there for private jam sessions.
And for the people without their own house,with annoying parents or unmusical stressful neighbors,the AK 20 RA has a headphone jack....
So at the price / performance ratio offered this amplifier has my warmest recommendation!
