I already use a Shubb capo for my 12-string guitar and know the quality. The C1 is simply top! The finest mechanics, you can adjust the string pressure perfectly. Solid material, yet gentle on the guitar neck. I will never change my capo supplier again in my life;-))

The part works perfectly and retuning is not necessary. I always had to retune with capos that are tensioned
with a spring tensioned. That is no longer necessary here.
However, the shipping with DPD was a disaster. Although I chose the option "fast shipping", DPD needed six (!) days (four working days and two holidays).
(four working days and two holidays) for the delivery. With DHL something like this can be done in two days. I have read these problems also already from others.
Here I advise the company Kirstein urgently to make a change of the dispatch company. For this I pay then gladly also a euro more. The
Company Kirstein can not help it, the article was quickly handed over to the shipping company, namely on the day of the order.

After I have tried a whole series of different Kapos on my various guitars, I can say that the Shubb C1 for Western or the Shubb C2 for acoustic guitars work well on any guitar. With the help of the adjusting screw, you can always quickly find a setting where nothing slips or rattles and where the strings are kept clean and "tone-free". So I remain faithful to Shubb in the future and now already have a small collection of them (for each guitar case).

Absolutely high quality and easy to use. Worth every penny.

Not my first capo, but my best, one without the faults of the others. It doesn't interfere much and because of the curvature, which is the same as the neck of the guitar, it pushes the strings down evenly, which helps the tuning. I wish I had bought it first, it would have been cheaper. These universal capos are an unnecessary compromise.

This capo Shubb C1 is super processed and optimal for my acoustic guitar. It is very easy to adjust and fits great on my Yamaha FGX800C. The support on the strings is exemplary.
