First of all, I am a complete beginner and actually play beginner guitar... Therefore, this is my first bass I ever use, hold in my hand and play.

I've been looking a bit for optics an entry level bass, and the looks and quality here has completely convinced me. Great wood, good workmanship and except for tiny blemishes (I list below) no flaws. This continuous neck is really a dream!
Now I could not distinguish a good from a bad string action, but a bassist friend has given the green light. Here, the presetting is also correct and you do not necessarily have to go to the store to have it adjusted - but of course you can always claim for yourself.
So I am very satisfied, the bass came very quickly, and the Kirstein service seems to be very good.

The blemishes:
- A little unclean work on the outside of the groove. Disturbs the playability but not in the least
- 2 of the 4 knobs are strangely sluggish. This could certainly be corrected quickly, but you do not have to.
- The beautiful skirt part logo is not quite perfectly printed, or the unfortunately really lousy DPD shipping has led to the fact that the logo is somewhat scraped.

I was looking for a seventh bass for little money that is presentable and has reasonably good sound qualities. Testwise I ordered the Rockteil LB 104.

I got a bass that - contrary to some other reviews - is excellently processed, looks awesome, has enough adjustment options and can be played well.

Of course, I had to adjust the neck and the string action to myself first (but that's also the case with expensive guitars), one of the knobs rubbed a bit against the top, but that became unnecessary by lifting it a bit, and the strap pins were screwed on a bit loosely - also no problem. The color has turned out a little darker, but wood is now times a natural product.

The only real drawback (which does not change the rest of the quality and is especially good for the sound) is the high weight.
The bass is great for sitting players, but standing you can feel the part after a short time - and in the back ;)

But for recording and at home I sit anyway, so actually no issue. And if he does not go on world tour, he hangs in the living room and is there among the other basses and guitar a real eye-catcher!

Too bad for all of you who seem to have gotten a montage unit!!! Mine must have been built on a bright morning in spring by very good-humored workers :-)

The bass buzzes when playing the E-side in the neck/case. Although he was perfectly tuned, all screws were checked for tightness and also the set screw in the neck was checked. Unfortunately, he goes back.

The instrument absolutely meets my expectations. The finish on the fingerboard could be a bit better, but since there are no sharp edges or anything, that doesn't bother (me at least).

I am very satisfied in every respect with the bass.
That something like this is possible for this price I would not have expected.
My thought to use it as a nice decorative piece if necessary, has quickly evaporated.
Although everyone has different priorities, but I hereby express a clear recommendation to buy.

An electric bass that is not only visually "worth seeing", but also has a lot to offer in terms of sound technology! The processing is good. As a beginner, I put great emphasis on the lowest possible string action and I was very pleasantly surprised, because neck is nice and straight, strings lie flat without rattling.exactly what I imagined!

I can recommend this instrument at any time and am very satisfied with the delivery and the entire service!
The only downside: If you put the bass somewhere, the tuners adjust, as they are very smooth, and you have to retune. Very small paint defects fingerboard edges have stain defects it is missing here and there in small barely visible places the paint. But you can easily cope with that at this price and the very well done instrument.

Unpacked and first very taken by the optics. Then the disappointment after tuning rattle / scrape the E and A strings. Therefore, back again. Too bad.

Got the bass today, directly unpacked and examined. Optics impeccable, workmanship at the usual level of the class under 200 €. There is here times a rest of glue there times an out-of-round running potentiometer shaft but on the whole o.k. With the saddle, the colleague who glued it in would have had to make more effort because the clearly noticeable protrusion now to do away with could be fun because of the varnish of the neck. Well no matter the price, so tune and ran to the Warwick amp.

Holla, there comes out really what. Dust dry really deep and if the tone controls are turned to the right, the part can even kick really good. However, despite ample travel of the potentiometers, the control range is not very large and somewhat indifferent.
If only, as in this class obviously usual, these horrible strings would not be on it. After 5 minutes of playing the fingertips are rough, which fly immediately down and my beloved 2832 Ernie Balls on it.
Conclusion:
A solid workhorse that comes down abysmally with decent substance. Who does not care about the name gets a lot of bass for the money. The star deduction there because of the above-mentioned saddle.

Finally, an electric bass that combines a number of positive features in itself:
1. a price-performance ratio that can be seen!
2. 3.6 kg, the instrument lies well during play and can be balanced well, so that even longer passages succeed without fatigue!
3) With the sound electronics clean and clear bass sequences can be conjured up!
4. the lime wood body harmonizes with the black neck in breathtaking beauty,
here the listener could become a spectator: the only obstacle is the rich sound!

Basically very aesthetic instrument with good tonal performance, but with this specimen:
many noticeable stains and imperfections in the wooden surface of the body, volume control seems weakly anchored.
Therefore returned because of displeasure.
