ordered this guitar as a holiday present for myself, and it arrived after the holidays. it's fine, i understood that there were delays and i knew that my order would be delayed. but this isn't about that.
been looking at this guitar for months, i was quite intrigued about it and wanted to know if the finish was true to what was shown in the pictures. i didn't like the black and gold, but the body color is what attracted me to it. so i ordered it, and waited for it to arrive. was pleasantly surprised when i unboxed the guitar and saw it the first time. i can definitely say that the pictures don't do the guitar justice at all, it looks so much better when you're holding it.
when i unboxed the guitar, i was stunned with the finish, and wanted to immediately tear down all the gold hardware and black plastics and replace them with nickel and cream respectively. what i had in mind is something close to a 59 Les Paul in orange burst like this one (https://guitar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Epi-Les-Paul-59-Andertons5-696x523.jpg).
talking about the wood, the body is made of several wood planks on my guitar, topped veneers on both the front and the back and adorned with binding ala LP custom. it is also quite light, but does not seem to be chambered or relieved. it doesn't sound hollow, and it does resonate when you play it. the top is finished in an orange-ish color with a very slight amount of burst, almost unnoticeable. the back, sides and neck are done in a lighter, amber-ish hue. the grain on the guitar is quite visible under the finish. although the flames on the top isn't as clear, it's fine as the finish is still quite superb for me.
the neck is (i think) similar to a 59-60 Les Paul neck profile. not thick and very comfortable to play. the fretboard is quite dry, which needs a bit of oiling to give it some moisture. some of the fret markers on the side of the neck are not centered in between the frets, but that's something minor and does not affect playability. the frets, particularly the ends, are laid down well, i only had to do a very minimal amount of work with the leveling and crowning. i did not encounter any sharp fret ends, which made my work easier.
as i said, i didn't like the gold pickups and gold hardware, i replaced them with nickel ones i had in my spares bin. took out all the black plastics and replaced them with cream ones for the selector switch, pickguard, pickup rings and the jack plate. replaced the black speed knobs with gold top hat knobs, and that was all i needed.
i knew i made the right choice when i finished setting the guitar up. looks-wise, it fit the bill for me. but what about the sound, you ask? since i had to replace the pickups with better ones, it also ended up sounding the way i wanted it to. added push-pull pots to give it coil splitting. the wood was really light but very resonant, so i knew that it'd be quite suitable with what i wanted to play. natural sustain is surprisingly good considering the wood used for a guitar of this price point, which added bonus points for me.
some points to look out for would be the nut and the neck. on this guitar, the nut does not sit flush to the head and the end of the fretboard, and is also a bit too high. the slots aren't the best on this one, so it does require quite a bit of filing down, or a replacement. however, the sides of the nut are lacquered into the finish, so you have to be very careful when replacing it. also, be careful with the head. although it is bonded to the neck via a scarf joint, there is no neck volute that should add extra strength to the joint. neck setups like these are even more prone to breakage than those with volutes, so be careful if you plan to travel with this guitar or if you plan to play it in a live setting like gigs.
overall, i'd say it's a good buy. it's a good platform for modding, the guitar simply asks you to do it. along with quite a superb finish and exceptional tonal characteristics, i'd give it 4 stars. the missing star is for the bad choice of lacquering the nut to the neck finish, and the volute-less neck design. still, great value for the money for anyone interested in getting this guitar.

This guitar is real value for the little money it will cost. The touch and the sound gives a good LP feeling. The instrument only needs slight adjustments. It may be recommended to give harder strings to it , but this definitely depends on the user"s taste and skill. Any such changes must be followed by readjustment of the neck.
Perfect except for a single point

I took a little time with my rating, because in my initial enthusiasm I would have easily given it the full star rating. Everything seemed to be perfect: Discounting the holidays, fast shipping that was also well packaged, a reasonable price since the newsletter I subscribe to alerts me to any special offers from Kirstein, and a really, right out of the box, well set up and playable instrument.
The string action, neck curvature, and intonation - everything was right the first time. Even the saddle height, which is poor on most inexpensive guitars, was right, so even the often critical intonation in the lower register on open chords is not objectionable. The tuners hold the tuning well.
A thick minus point nevertheless became painfully apparent to me after some time, in the truest sense of the word: The lengthening and rounding of the fretsticks on my copy is deficient, so that sharp edges left my gripping hand sore. This is actually unusual for a guitar of this type, since the bars should end before the binding. Here I have to rework - and carefully tape the neck, so as not to damage it in the process.
The look of the guitar is fantastic - unfortunately, the pictures at Kirstein only reveal on closer inspection that the guitar has a multi-layer binding on the top AND bottom, so it looks much better in real life than on the pictures. The woods used, however, do not convince me completely, because they seem to me little resonant - which seems to have little or no effect on the sound. The sound is characterized by an excellent sounding neck pickup. It "sings" and allows solos to soften the heart. In contrast, I find the bridge pickup a bit muddy and undifferentiated at high distortion. The output of both PUs is rather "vintage-oriented" low.
Assuming a more vintage-oriented sound, and the really pretty honeyburst color scheme, one naturally wonders about the black plastic parts and the thick knobs. For me, they don't really fit this instrument and its character, which is why I exchanged the knobs (common 8mm Far East diameter of the shaft) for brown hat knobs and the plastic parts for ones in cream - except for the knob cover, for which I couldn't find a suitable replacement part. Now the guitar is a beauty for me! But that is a matter of taste, younger players may like the standard equipment better.
Conclusion: A really well set up guitar, ideal for beginners, which is also a pleasure for advanced players. If I rate the sharp fret ends as an outlier of my copy, it is five stars, but for my copy unfortunately their only four.

This is really a good deal, almost hard to believe...(Kirstein Advent Deal for 138.71 €)
The guitar sounds really grown up and is also from the handling hardly distinguishable from a much more expensive of the established brand.
Even dry played it really resonates very well and after I plugged it in the surprise was even greater ...
The workmanship is really good for the price, each of the pickup settings sounds as you would expect from a Paula....
I bought 2 of the guitars at once, one of them was damaged, Kirstein exchanged without any problems....in total.
a really good deal, not only for beginners...in the store a nice employee still optimized the neck curve for me, super....

The instrument is very good value for money but the packaging banstante disappointing. It comes in two boxes but both arrived with holes, two broken edges and the case that directly covers the guitar broken and stuck to the pickups of the guitar. Thank goodness nothing seems to have happened to the guitar.
Comparison is difficult!!!

I was guided by the very good appearance and the consistently good reviews.
Visually, this guitar really makes a lot. However, the tuning of the guitar is so difficult that I will visit a workshop. Result in the workshop is still open!

this instrument should be better saved and the money rather for a better instrument...
Poor workmanship, unclean corners and edges, protruding frets... what can you expect - honestly - at the price otherwise ?
Was a bad buy.
The processing by Fa. Kirsten, however, is impeccable.

The look of the guitar is the hammer - is all in all a successful Les Paul copy from China.
Of course there are also weak points like the fingerboard and the rhythm treble switch also does not make the impression to have been built for eternity.
The most important thing: The sound is in my humble opinion very fat!!!
For the price it is hard to believe
Absolute buy recommendation!!!!!

Hello first of all.
I got this guitar for Christmas and am so far really excited. The processing is really class. There are no frets over, there is nothing sharp-edged or unclean painted. Really nice high gloss on it and you have a decent weight in the hand. The action works perfectly and the sound is really good even with the small Rocktile amp. Also the string action is top.a very nice Gibson Les Paul replica.... I didn't break any strings while tuning it, but I also waited five hours to tune it after it came in from the cold. I think this guitar is absolutely worth the money and I would buy it again anytime! But, I don't even need to, with the quality!

Bought the guitar based on the positive reviews. Instrument was delivered on time, looks great, has a great sound over a Marshall amp.
Unfortunately, I noticed only at the second look, the lower mechanism, with which the side height is set, is mounted totally crooked.
It can not be my job to fix that as a customer!!!
Too bad, so an initially super purchase feeling is unfortunately provided with a bitter aftertaste.
I think with a proper final inspection, such an instrument does not even have to be sent, because the customer has the effort afterwards, send back, get a new guitar and hope that this is without quirks.
I will return the guitar.

I would like to confirm the very good reviews on this page. Appearance, workmanship and sound are very good, the more expensive original manufacturers, as far as I had their models in the hands, also offer no more (or even less, if you take into account the sparse equipment in the entry models of Gibson and Epiphone). I almost regret spending a lot of extra money on an Epiphone (the top of the line model with all sorts of special features that ultimately don't add much. The actual instrument is no better than the cheap Rocktile). If you can do without brand labels and symbols (if someone doesn't want to perform on TV with this quasi noname product or is a professional musician, he or she can at least deduct the high prices from taxes), you get a lot with the Rocktile brand otherwise - instrument and quality. If this had been clear to me some time ago, I could have saved a lot of money.

Hello, musicians out there. I don't normally do this. Reviews
I ordered a Rocktile Pro 200 some time ago Gibson replica of the LP (Les Paul).
Had an LP Studio myself and couldn't get along with it. Then came the guitar from Kirstein, super service. and I packed full of expectation that :) ? cheap model. Woh, I already had a weight in my hand. Super processed, cool woods, gold-plated pickups, etc. Now I was curious how it sounds over the amp. So, connected and, hello ballet. A super sound, and if I still adjust them a little, now times honestly, better than the LP Studio. A brilliant sound (play with pleasure Garry Moore) and that for under 200 euros. Maybe I have had luck and got a Sunday child. But I don't think so. I had the neck and the tuners adjusted by a friend (it often went out of tune in the beginning) and now it's my favorite instrument. Conclusion . If you go with a Kirstein house brand, I think you are best served unless you have enough money to buy a truly legendary guitar, Finally, the following. I really have a lot of high quality amps (tube amps) But there is another way: cheap version : My Rocktile LP from Kirstein, and now pay attention, a LINE VI Spider IV and the LP replica from Kirstein, if you set it up right, you have the absolute hammer sound for 400 €. So, it goes also cheaper, it must not always cost 2 Mille, in order to manufacture a cool sound. I report this here only because I have tried so many things. (I get no commission of Kirstein. ) Wanted to tell that only times.

There was the postman with my package in front of the door and it rang.
I-first time down the stairs and accept.
Then we went to unpack - it was really like Christmas.
I was so excited about the look and the quality of the product.
I was so excited about the look and the workmanship-wow.
Great wood-double binding etc.
Well-because I am a passionate tinkering freak the part had to go under the knife-half so bad-don't panic.
First I disassembled everything and covered the electronics with copper foil.
Then I screwed everything together, put new strings on it, adjusted the neck, adjusted the pu's...
Fretcleaned- tuned and started.
My ears almost flew off-what's that-needed a smoke-sorry-for the shock.
I got the full booming-glass clear-percussive and full of dynamics and pressure.in the crunch range very warm and slightly melancholic-wow.my absolute buy tip in terms of optics, sound, handling.
Modifications on my part do not have to be-this is just my personal standard. In the original condition-after the adjustment work-simply perfect to play. The Pu`s deliver a fat sound-similar to the original.
Pickup frames will be exchanged for metal ones- sharper attack.
So thank you again-for this impeccable and high quality instrument-George.

For little money a super guitar! Ordered and the next day already there, immediately unpacked and tested. The first thing I noticed was the slightly too high string action and the somewhat incorrectly adjusted neck, which, however, was quickly done with a few simple steps. After that, the guitar can be played wonderfully. The pickups don't sound bad, but I exchanged both pickups for expensive ones, as well as the (bad) strings, and lo and behold, suddenly I have a guitar that can be seen and heard :-) I have already played the guitar on several rehearsals and 2 gigs and I am still enthusiastic about what you can get for little money. I am very satisfied and can only recommend the guitar. Good does not always have to be expensive. It is actually clear to everyone that you do not get a high-end product for this price, i.e. mechanics pickup wood etc. are of course not comparable with a high-priced guitar, but if you want a cheap, cleanly processed and good sounding guitar for little money, I can recommend this without any problems. The workmanship is good, the strings easy to change and the string action easily adjustable. The strings (apparently 9 - 40) have survived the tuning (unfortunately not always so when cheap steel strings are raised) , do not have to be retuned too often. The sound is very good for the price range, the guitar is extremely "pretty" (suitable for ladies), seems a bit heavy (humbuckers and brass ?), but is still very cuddly and handy. Recommendable product.

Very good Paula, this is my second electric guitar from Rocktile, after I was so enthusiastic about the first a Pro S 100 W I ordered me the Pro L-200OHB. What arrived was really great! Very beautiful flawless finish and workmanship.quickly tuned and it could go off.string action perfect, very nice fret clean, super playable-neck is optimally adjusted and in addition still a mad sound. These humbuckers sound like old Gibson PAFs from the sixties when the volume pot is turned back 1/3.lots of warmth and a balanced tone.when the volume pot is turned up all the way, the Paula is quite biting and develops an assertive but always clean tone with a powerful sound.
A super guitar that is unparalleled in this price range.maximum points and a very hot buy recommendation from me !!!! SUPER

Due to the great experiences with the kits from Rocktile, I have now also bought a Rocktile Pro LP-200OHB. The guitar is cleanly finished, has really beautiful optics and great playability. Since I prefer a very flat string action I had to slightly rework the 1st fret. In the 12th fret, the area e1 was not worked cleanly, briefly reworked and I already have a super guitar. In this respect, the Les Pauls in this series from Musikhaus Kirstein can also be confidently recommended as first-class instruments. Up to now I use a Spear RD 250 primarily to play, this has now been demoted to my 2 guitar. Their sound is high class even with the original pickups and can compete with the high priced models of the big brand names. A real tip!
Finally, a small suggestion for improvement: use 4-wire pickups (splitting).

First of all: The guitar is absolutely ok for the price and I really don't want to do anything bad!
I just want to share "my experience" with this instrument with you, as I felt it subjectively.
We are talking about a Les Paul replica of the company Rocktile for about 180 € which is delivered to your home by mail order. If you want a perfect guitar, then you invest at least four times as much and buy it in a specialist shop and can check here immediately whether everything is in order and if necessary ask the dealer with improvements.
I was aware of this and wanted to buy a very inexpensive model at first as a re-beginner and will possibly buy something of higher quality later if I should "stay on the ball".
When I received the package and unpacked, I had at first glance a beautiful and quite solidly processed guitar in hand. But since I have some experience as a newcomer, I noticed during a thorough inspection but some small things that needed improvement.
For one thing, the factory strings are nothing (at least for my taste) - but I didn't expect otherwise, because that's always the case in this price range. That's why I had a better set at hand (I like to use Ernie Ball 10/46), which I then strung. After that, there was still some work to do, which would most likely have been the case with any other guitar if you use strings of a different gauge.
I had to readjust the neck to achieve the optimal string action in my opinion with the strings of my choice - and the fret purity was also not 100%, which I also corrected. All in all, it took me about two hours of fine tuning - but unfortunately I'm also very petty.
After that, the really only minus point that I have to give the instrument in terms of workmanship came to light:
After everything was perfectly adjusted, I struck every string in every single fret and had to notice that the first three strings (E,A,D) snarled exclusively in the 12th fret, the rest was flawless. So I had to work on the 13th fret carefully with a very fine file, until this shortcoming was also fixed.
Now I have a guitar that is perfectly adjusted, sounds very good (certainly in conjunction with the Korg Pandora PX4D, which I use) and am completely satisfied.
Conclusion:
For the really reasonable price, you get an absolutely recommendable entry-level model here with a really good sound. My steps to achieve this do not have to apply to everyone, because I'm really very petty (I'm also sometimes called Monk :-)) and possibly not every guitar of this series like an egg from the other.
For the beginner, I think the model is highly recommended. And now that I have it "properly" adjusted, I have endless fun with it.
All adjustments for personal optimization can be done by yourself - there are endless instructions on Youtube or in good guitar instruction books. There are no guitars in this price range that are absolutely perfect for everyone.
Even instruments that cost many times more can be improved for the individual taste, but these are bought, as I mentioned above, in a specialist shop and the dealer will then gladly do everything to make you highly satisfied - and that is then included in the price.
I have already had similarly priced guitars in the hand, which were much worse processed, so that you could not improve anything even with some basic technical knowledge.

Hello moin
I liked the article a lot. The guitar is good to play and easy in the hand, which means you can play a few hours without getting back pain.
Now the negative The guitar is unfortunately broken arrived with me. The small E side and H side were torn and a corner is broken out of the guitar. I noticed it when unpacking so not my fault. Since there were difficulties with the delivery and it took an extremely long time until it was with me I did not send it back. I found that a bit stupid that you have not reported at all. anyone can have difficulties to run (if the article is not there or so) but since in the confirmation mail was the article within 3-4 working days there is also waiting and not 10 days. would have liked to hear what where my article remains. But on the whole I am satisfied

The guitar has a very good sound I use the guitar via Rocksmith and have the best results. I get the best results with the notes played with my other guitars is not so, but they are also a bit older.
But on the whole you do not make a mistake here, very good guitar.

First of all - a beautiful massive good guitar.
Visually my favorite piece.
However, I am disappointed that some screws were loose and 2 screws that turn through thus no firm screw the Humbuker allow.
This has the consequence that before each play I must first press this with my hand into the holder to not rub with the strings on these when playing.
Will now repair this myself in a specialty store.
However, I would expect that a guitar you buy new apart from the tuning is ready to play without the man this must repair.
Had so far unfortunately no alternative in terms of price and optics can find. Otherwise I would have given the guitar back.

The guitar was well made and had no sharp-edged fret ends and was otherwise well made, and the sound was great, except for two things that were not right with my guitar.
The guitar often went out of tune very quickly and the output signal was often lost because the connection for the jack cable had too much play and wobbled so that there were always dropouts.
This could possibly have been fixed, but I returned the guitar anyway because I was worried that this guitar might be susceptible to repairs.
