Only in the area where the neck rests, I had to put some foam, otherwise the mechanics would lie on.

The workmanship of the bag is very good and the bass, a 5-string in Precision style fits perfectly. Pockets for sheet music, strap, cable and an effects unit are also there. I think I will enjoy this case for a long time.

I ordered the lightweight case for my son's new shortscale bass and was initially concerned about whether it would fit.
The Ibanez TMB30-BK Talman Short Scale fits easily into the Rocktile Bass case despite its unusual shape.
The protection factor of the lightweight case can be rated as very high.
And my son can easily go to bass lessons thanks to the backpack set.

The case looks very chic and is equipped with many applications comfortable. The interior size is absolutely sufficient, only my bass has a strongly angled head, which unfortunately needed more space in the case than the recess gave. Due to the flexibility of the case, this was still no problem. The smooth-running large zipper is easy to operate. The case was overall a good choice, the Advent promotion has made my decision even easier.

Really strong and comfortable case. I was a little bit worried about my bass shape as it is a rockbass warwick corvette but it suits really good a part of the third string key interfering with the internal coating but is quite easy to modify the shape as it is made of hard polystyrene.
Very comfy also the bag pack strips.

So far all good, see above, another fixation of the neck I have solved with Velcro.

Well made case with comfortable shoulder straps. Valid compromise between products "soft" and hard cases certainly more durable but less practical especially in movements in which you have your hands busy (on the bike or traveling).

I have now bought this case for the second time, it is intended to transport a 5 string J bass.
The case is sturdy, and nice and light. The 5-sider fits inside.
In direct comparison to the previous model, however, the bottom part is kept a little flatter, so the recess for the headstock is also flatter and the bass does not lie correctly on the neck rest, because the tuning pegs already rest on the bottom of the recess.
If you put the tuning pegs all flat, it's not a problem. Maybe one or two centimeters deep are missing.
Please touch up. Otherwise, an impeccable and well thought out case.

Lightweight, well-fitted for basses with non-angled headstock, definitely Jazz, Precision and Music Man.

With this instrument case you have (almost) everything you need.
As other reviewers have already mentioned, an electric bass with angled headstock rests on the mechanics, so it is necessary to put the neck underneath so that this does not happen and the bass is constantly out of tune. (But which case is different?) Here the manufacturer could supply a "cushion", which is optionally attached with Velcro (can not cost the world). On this cushion the neck lies on and thus the mechanics, or the whole neck is protected from distortion.
The carrying handle is attached in the correct position with long circumferential straps (due to this load distribution, the straps should not actually tear out), so that the "loaded" case can be carried nicely balanced, horizontally.
2 loops are held together by means of Velcro wrapping and then form this carrying handle. The wrapping is needed so that the straps do not cut into the hand. But the problem is that after a while you can't glue this wrapping together anymore, because every time you want to open the case, this wrapping has to be pulled apart. Here I would like to see like in "older" gig bags (I think this was also available at Rocktile) two handles wrapped with a kind of tube, which you simply take together in the hand.
I'm missing a handle on the front so you can set the case down next to you like a rifle "at foot" or where it's tight, carry it vertically at times and have it securely in your hand.
I can't say anything about the backpack straps yet, as I haven't carried the instrument case on my back yet.
The outer dimensions are nice and compact.
A small compartment inside and many pockets on the front offer plenty of storage space for cables, tuner, pens, sheet music, etc.
Since I have this case only a short time in use, I can not yet say anything about the durability. Only, the good workmanship lets hope/expect that I will have a lot of pleasure with this case for a long time.
This case is also available at a reasonable price, so I can absolutely recommend it and would buy it again at any time.

Good workmanship and space for everything that needs to go. Wonderful fit for jazz and p basses. Unfortunately, not suitable for basses such as the ibanez sr, because the angled headstock rests and the bass can therefore not be transported optimally.
For basses with straight headstock unreservedly recommended.

I was looking for a gig bag with the protection of a suitcase at bezahlbarwm price and have found it. My Fender Precision Bass fits super pure and is sufficiently protected by the gig bag. The zippers are smooth and the entire bag makes a quality impression.

Have been looking for a protected transport option for my bass, which should be more compact than the standard rectangular hard case, but should still offer more protection than a thin bag. My Music Man Stingray 5 fits easily into the new lightweight case, but should be fixed, for example, with the coiled strap from the bass against slipping around - this works without problems and the bass sits firmly. Practical the pockets for odds and ends and sheet music. Let's wait and see how the longevity is. Price - performance really top!

The workmanship is of high quality, the electric bass fits generously and yet perfectly inside and has so little play that nothing wobbles or slides back and forth. Good wearing comfort, but above all a very good compromise between preventing damage to the instrument and just such damage to door frames, the car or elsewhere in the apartment, where too hard edges of cases sometimes leave their mark - especially when children or teenagers handle it ... For an evaluation of the durability it is of course too early ...

The case is just great. My Ibanez SR fits in without probleme. Quality of the material and the zippers : flawless!
Can only recommend this case

I received this bass case and it is definitely nice and sturdy. Unlike most products out there, it has the aesthetic appearance of a soft case, but the internal structure of the hard.
Really outstanding.

The case makes a very neat impression, the workmanship shows no weaknesses, zippers run easily. A jazz bass with the asymmetrical, slightly longer body fits exactly, Pecision or Music Man have some space in the case. Unfortunately there is no possibility to fix the instrument in the case again. Therefore, these instruments do not sit one hundred percent tight and rattle around a bit inside. Therefore, there is also only 4 of 5 stars.
I use it now for my jazz bass and for that it is ideal. It is much more stable and gives more protection than any gig bag. At the same time, you can put everything you need, from tuners to sheet music, in the numerous outside pockets, which is not the case with a case. Therefore a really successful synthesis. Maybe the manufacturer can solve the PRoblem of fixing basses with a slightly smaller body, then the case would be optimal for all basses.

To make a long story short, without going into the choice of protective materials (there would be a lot to say about that, too): this case has a terrible design problem!
The cavity provided for the head is clearly not deep enough so that the head and the action rest on it (even if you detune the bass to make the action "flat"). As a result, the neck is absolutely not in the trench designed for it (it is anywhere from 1 to almost 3 inches above it, depending on the bass), so the instrument is completely cantilevered between the head and the back of the body! So, yes, you can close, but only with force, and I don't even want to tell you what the neck has to endure with such treatment!
This fault was found on all the basses mentioned below.... if they fit at all!

- Squier Jaguar Bass (to insert the body, you have to twist the neck completely, so it doesn't even follow the virtual course of the trench provided for it).
In short: unusable!

After the first transport of my 5-string, the neck was warped! The case is not suitable for basses with angled headstock! With these, the bass rests on the lower end of the body and the tip of the headstock. The neck does not rest at all, it does not come into contact with the case along its entire length, but only with the lid.
Unfortunately, there is no indication anywhere for which basses the case fits, or for which it doesn't! There are just other except Jazz and Preci....

Great case, I have a Fender Precision 5 string bass and it fits precisely.
The 5th string mechanics of the headstock touches the side, but the padding is saggy.
