I bought the XZ as an upgrade for my XDJ-RX2. When the device then arrived I was surprised by the size but again although I was allowed to operate the all-in-one mixer then but once in the club operation.
Basically, there is not much negative to report, only on the processing one could expect a bit more at this sum. It seems - when the right jog key is moved - as if it is a bit eggy. The gap between the display and the console is also a bit larger on the right side. Of course, nothing that affects mixing.
For anyone who wants an Nxs2-like setup, a good, almost (emphasis on almost, there are a few differences!) identical alternative, which is, however, priced at a third.
I would also like to mention again that Denon DJ is again miles ahead of Pioneer DJ. In the end, you have to know for yourself how to use the mixer. What the XDJ-XZ in comparison to the Prime 4 most lacks is the possibility to switch the deck and so all channels can really use (in standalone mode!). Pioneer DJ suggests here to simply buy more CDJs, which is not for everyone in terms of price (a pity, but you do not want to push yourself out of the market).
I use the channels 3 and 4 to play real vinyl, and that works fine.
Fun makes the XZ aufjedenfall and from the features her one is there (at Pioneer DJ level) amply served. For transport, however, I recommend buying an additional bag.
