The subwoofer arrived well packed in a huge package. Quickly unpacked and connected I first experimented with the positioning in my 12 square meter room. Some may now say that in such a small room a subwoofer makes everything worse because of the room modes. However, I have much more fun with the subwoofer than without it - better an imperfect bass than no bass at all.
The Neumann KH 750 DSP sounds to me a better match for my pair of KH120 A's than the budget Presonus Temblor T10. It doesn't play as powerfully and unobtrusively extends the monitors downwards. In return, I've had more fun playing electric bass with the Presonus Temblor T10 so far.
I still want to play with the DSP a bit, but need to find an iOS device for that first. Hopefully Neumann will soon develop an application for the Windows PC.

On the pictures on the Internet, the subwoofer looks relatively small - but it is not really. At about 20 kg, however, quite a bit is to be expected. After wiring with the existing Neumann KH 80 DSP speakers comes the necessary setup and adjustment work. After the adjustment via "Neumann app" a less than convincing result. The bass was relatively restrained. So everything back to square one - the subwoofer manually set a little louder and the whole thing calibrated with "Sonarworks Reference" and the sun rises.
Well, the adjustment via app was "quick & dirty" - there is certainly still room for improvement. With the Sonarworks system including measurement mic, the overall impression is much more convincing and my "home studio" - which I would already call semi-professional (about 25 years of music experience), now sounds like I imagine it. Clean, non-boomy and tight bass. Furthermore, the two KH 80 do their job; all good!
Preliminary conclusion: The combination of KH 80 & KH 750 is perfectly matched and very well suited for a studio of small to medium size (in my case approx. 24 sqm) - highly recommended in my opinion!
