Instructions (keyboard school) helps well when trying out or over. I was able to play "Happy Birthday" in a short time. The small successes spur on to continue practicing.

The keyboard is o.k. for the price, but the instruction manual as well as the teaching material are completely insufficient for newbies like me. The numbers for the controls in the manual are so small that I could not even read them with a magnifying glass. Since the keyboard is supposed to be for kids, I expected understandable explanations, but they are so poor that it is not enough for me as a beginner. The 8 buttons for drums, for example, are not explained and the symbols underneath are much too small to be able to interpret them. Of the 100 rhythms, many sounded very similar and few pleasant. The learning material obviously assumes a lot of knowledge, e.g. that you know sheet music. I did 6 videos in one week, had to repeat them all the time because I didn't understand anything. But in the meantime I can play the "Atte katte nu wa". Ju Hu. I also expected the videos to be on DVD and had to figure out how to download them. So nix for smaller kids and grandma`s like me, but I still keep it because I don`t let it scare me off.
