The Line6 Helix Rack complements my studio setup in the practical rack format, the modeler is located right next to the desktop and is directly integrated into the production process via pedal and software. With just a few clicks of the mouse, I can upload my presets to the network and have a backup for gigs. After several attempts with Kemper, Axe/FX II and also the original Helix I have now arrived.
The sounds are after minor corrections class and both at home and live top.
The comparison with other models, here the AXE/FX, is to the point:
1/3 price, complete floorboard incl. pedal (built in) and especially the incredible ease of use speak clearly for the Helix LT.
I, for one, can't detect any difference in sound that equates to an extra price of almost three times the price. The box sounds authentic no matter what you plug into it. I use it straight into the mixer, and into a monitor box at the same time, or into my amp.
Also great service from Kirstein. Sunday ordered online, Tuesday already delivered, top!
Briefly to the Helix: The device is absolutely identical, same processors, same sound, etc.. There are a few things missing, which for me do not fall into the weight. I think there is one FX path less, the small displays are missing and the case is not made of aluminum. But that's about it.
Am satisfied all around.
