I am pleasantly surprised by the HX Stomp. I'm not a "tube snob" in the sense that I find only tube amps good, but was overall but in the analog camp, also because I have too many options and too much Gefrickel when "tuning" any presets have deterred. But after researching Line 6, Kemper and Co. more intensively, I wanted to give it a try. The HX Stomp was so appealing because it is so incredibly small and light, but still has a lot of the functionality of its bigger siblings.
Specifically, that means amp and cab models, effects, everything for different instruments (electric guitar, acoustic, bass, keyboard), and a number of exciting use cases. I sent it into a Nanocab (12 guitar cab) at home with my Seymour Duncan Power Stage 170 as the power amp, and it immediately sounded very, very good. But I can also hook it up to an FRFR box, which allows me to pick up the sound that goes through the PA later, 1-to-1. With such a box I can use the Stomp as an acoustic guitar amplifier, which is only possible with restrictions with a regular electric guitar box, because such guitar boxes are not "full range", i.e. they cut off parts of the frequency spectrum. Also, thanks to various free presets and IRs online, I can load acoustic guitar simulations for electric guitars to get an acoustic sound on stage even with an electric guitar. Sure, it doesn't sound like a high quality acoustic in real, but it comes close to an electrically miked acoustic guitar. And it's all in a small stompbox.
Only the headphone output isn't quite up to scratch. The corresponding output on the Black Spirit 200, for example, is much more pleasant and reproduces the sound that otherwise goes out via guitar speaker or FRFR speaker much better. But I don't deduct a star for the HX Stomp, because it already covers a bunch of interesting use cases for manageable money. In this respect: Experiment successful, the part stays there.

As a purist, I have long refused to try simultaneous amplifier solutions, let alone use them.
Now in the pedalformformat makes the thing in my opinion the first time really sense!
With only one gig bag to the gig! This is a dream!
And the sound is awesome!
After the first gig I got a lot of praise for my sound and nobody wanted to believe that it didn't come from a tube amp!
I can only recommend the part!

I have had several modelers so far. The Stomp XL is the best - by far. Operation very simple and intuitive, amp models very ingenious and editor software the icing on the cake. Ingenious, absolute recommendation!
