The device makes a decent impression for this price. However, after extensive research on the Internet, my demands have grown more and more. Therefore, I have no choice but to avoid buying twice, return this device, continue to save and then buy a high-priced device.

To understand all the settings, you have to read the user manual. Normal playing with instruments and rhythm totally easy to understand.

A lot of keyboard for little money. Good keyboard easy to use.
Great sounds and styles.
A little harder sounds and styles than Yamaha.
The best is the service of the music house Kirstein.

I am extremely impressed by the sound performance, the sound presets (Keyboard Sets / STS) and the accompaniment arrangements (Styles) of the EK-50, as well as the price-performance ratio. However, the keyboard is relatively complex for an "entry-level" model and therefore by no means extremely user-friendly, especially since the number of direct controls is greatly reduced (e.g. no sliders for the part volumes) and therefore much has to be controlled via the display (by entering initially still hidden menus and submenus), such as the volumes of the individual parts; the same applies to the selection of sounds if you want to deviate from the excellent presets. The fact that you often have to activate two switches at the same time doesn't make it any more convenient or clear either. In addition, even the long version of the user manual (which has yet to be printed out) is rather tersely worded, for example without an explanation of the abbreviations. It's also a pity that the device doesn't have a midi port and the headphone jack is located on the back. However, since these shortcomings are largely made up for by the astonishing sonic performance, I would (for the time being, after a few weeks of playing in) award an overall "Good Plus".
