The guitar arrived on time in perfect condition and immediately made a visually good impression. It was perfectly set up overall. The sound comes quite wiry and clear, as you would expect from a Stratocaster. The pickups I had imagined a little more lively. But they sound good and convince. The price is reasonable for this timeless guitar. It took some getting used to for me, since I was used to the flat frets of a Telecaster, that the jumbo frets of the Strat need less pressure when playing. After a short acclimatization period, it worked well. I am very satisfied with the guitar.

As I said, this is a truly extraordinary guitar, both in sound and playability. Very efficient is the possibility of being able to add the bridge pick-up at any position of the selector, thanks to the last push-pull tone knob.
The tuners are very precise, the tremolo lever very sensitive and the Honey Burst color, spectacular!
Really another guitar

The guitar is very well made, as you would expect from a Fender guitar "Made in USA". Likewise, the sound corresponds to the expectations that you have when you buy a Stratocaster. The next higher model from Fender is the Stratocaster Professional, which costs about 500,-- € more. Whether you have to accept sacrifices with the Performer series compared to the Professionell series, I can not judge, because I lack the comparison. But I think you get with the Performer Strat a very decent guitar, which should also have a fairly high resale value, because it is "Made in USA" and not from Mexico.
