Who wants to get into the singlecut model series, is very well served with this guitar. It has a healthy weight, but is not too heavy. It is wonderfully easy to play and is ideal for fast riffs.
But also tamed the guitar can be seen. The pickups bring a nice differentiated sound and do not muddy. On top there is the possibility to split the humbuckers to singlecoils, which offers an enormous tonal bandwidth. In the gain or highgain range it is definitely at home. Fat sound without mashing.
all around a top guitar, top processed and in my opinion the much better alternative to epiphone or etc..
Also very good as a base to pimp.
Definite buy recommendation !!!

The guitar sits wonderfully in the hand. Very well balanced, neither head heavy nor pop heavy. It is heavier than my Strat and my Randy Rhoads, but compared to an LP it is surprisingly light. Top workmanship and technology. The design is a dream. The sound comes very close to an LP, it can also be played like a Paula.
LTD EC-256 TOP workmanship!

The delivery has unfortunately taken a long time, but the guitar is a blast. Super processed, position ex works well, only had to retune and already I was blown away. Warm soft but still crisp sound with extra-long reverberation. Versatile adjustable and playable, rock, pop, blues and so on. Beautiful to look at it is also :-) For the price, an absolute buy recommendation.

My first guitar of this kind, want to use it for Dark/Prog Metal - or whatever you call it - and it seems to be made for it. Sound, playability, weight (light), the finish and also the look I like everything very much. Unfortunately the volume pots are so not usable, at position 1 it makes a big volume jump and from there to the end fully turned up hardly changes anything, at both poits! Yes, the guitar is super good, great materials and extremely cheap but that can't be the reason for the low price, they just used old pots that nobody else wants to have anymore. I don't really understand, this is mass-produced and you could have used other better, hardly more expensive pots. Anyway, here I / you just have to do it again, too bad, because I have to deduct a point. Except for that, the guitar is highly recommended.
The best beginner guitar in full mahogany with resonant top on the market - buy, buy, buy!

Preliminary the best guitar in full mahogany (body&neck glued) under 500€. Looks mega good, could look at it all day. A sublime beauty, my new girlfriend. Hammer finish thanks to high gloss lacquer coat and the whole feel is perfect. Quality is tremendously good, unbeatable for this low price - buy it guys! Old Swede -(or better old Chinese, he built it) what a cool guitar.
The sound: hot&fat is clean, massive fat resonant at the neck pickup, and a good portion of cream it tones over the whole fretboard. The bridge pickup cleans up especially in distorted realms, differentiated without excessive mid-boom, it brings the acoustic sound image to the amp.
Workmanship: The mahogany body is composed of 3 wood elements, the neck of one and the headstock of two parts, in my model. This is the way to use leftover precious woods. The rosewood fingerboard is extremely easy to play. Machine heads are also good. Neck profile is not too thick, fits wonderfully even for large hands.
Negative I noticed actually only: small matt varnish spots on the Singelcut inside and on the neck 1 fret above. The saddle bone could be better processed too roughly sanded. Switch could be crisper at the switching point do his work. At the push-pull poti the knob does not hold properly. All only small bagatelles that can be quickly fixed.
Conclusion: Forget Epiphone, J&D, HB and other entry-level guitar LPs style. The ESP LTD 256 beats them all by far in terms of workmanship and sound. The comparison to double and triple as expensive entry-level Gibson Faded / Studio does not need to shy away from the super cheap ESP LTD 256. Sound, optics, handling and workmanship as well as excellent playing characteristics are beyond any doubt, for the small money of 366 € sublime.
