since I've only plucked my bass strings with a small Peavey guitar amp at home and the constant crackle speziel at the E went on my nerves, no matter how I set the amp, I have decided to buy a cheap small bass practice amp. Besides, who likes to play only at home and to take my big bass amp with me every time is tedious in the long run : uninteresting.
With tension I have expected the amplifier and immediately tested after receipt. To be honest, the first evening I was disappointed. The E also cracked with this amplifier.
Until I have made the effort times so right BASS and amp tune, and what can I say, for the price, the SB-300 delivers a 1A bass sound! The sound comes neither too hard nor metallic but very balanced. Even if you turn up the volume a bit, the sound is still clear and pure. Of course you can not compare it with a fat combo or tube amp but for the price I must say, a top part!
