The miniamp is ideal to take with you. The BT function is very convenient to record music. Of course, at 3 watts the distortion is not as great as with a big amp - but you can connect an amp to the Blackstar and so use the BT function as well.
Cool dwarf

I bought the amp as a "living room practice amp", because I don't want to lug the 25kg Marshall up from the basement every time just to be able to practice in the living room.
Am thrilled, even at low volume the guitar sounds very good and balanced. The delay is a nice effect and with the ISF tone control you can really conjure up very different sounds from the thing.
The overdrive also distorts quite decently to really rock out with it. And in overdrive mode I even had to turn down the volume a bit, because this thing can be quite loud.
Also very nice is the integrated cable wrap of the second speaker. So the thing can be stored nicely without cable tangle when not in use.
Clear buy recommendation, I'm looking forward to next summer to use the thing then in the garden. In addition, I am already thinking about whether I should also get me the bass version, because the bass amp in the basement has the same weight class as the big guitar amp ;-)

Am just thrilled! So small and yet so much power. Super small power pack. Can only recommend it for beginners and for people who need something for the road.
It's fun !!

PROCESSING: Very good. The smooth plastic surface looks a bit cheap in terms of feel, perhaps it could have been given a slight texture, but that doesn't really bother. The speakers are very well protected by a sturdy metal grille.
FEATURES: The stereo cable is not too long, not suitable for a wider stereo base, but it will do.
The possibility to use both POWER and AA battery protects you from the fact of an expensive Li-ion battery replacement at some point. Very good !
The only EFFECT, the DELAY, is in my opinion a very good choice. You have some fullness in the sound, some room reverb is also achieved. I find this effect very suitable and successful, even if no large delay times are possible.
COMPATIBILITY: Unfortunately, the device hums audibly when you connect it to the BLACKSTAR tube distortion HT DUAL, for example. Pity. LEHLE Julian Booster works, TC-ELECTRONIC Triple Delay as well.
But pimping with external devices is actually not really necessary; that brings me to the
SOUND: Yo, here comes joy!
Playing Jackson Explorer with Seymour Duncan Parallel Axis PU's, tuning C !
(D'ADDARIO Extra Heavy).
The BLACKSTAR is not a BASS miracle, but if I put the Böxchen in the corner, I even have fun thanks to the support of physics at dive bombs! (not down to 24Hz of course...).
The MIDDLEs are great! Especially the DEEP MIDDLE ones too. Stopped chords and even soloing pump audibly! Well, BLACKSTAR knows how guitars should sound!
The ISF then brings less high-mids/trebles when turned to the right, but still a decent boost of bass.
MP3 FUNCTION:
The BASS needs to be pushed a little/somewhat more. But listening to music is simply great! The so important MIDDLE/LOW MIDDLE are fortunately present in full strength, so that
VOCAL, METAL or even JAZZ sound very spacious and powerful.
And also jamming to running music is pleasingly good sounding. So you can catch yourself shredding to the CHARLIE BROWN soundtrack...
The achievable VOLUME is high, I would even say very high for these 2x 3 watts!
CONCLUSION:
If you leave the church in the village and look at the purpose for which these small amps are intended and what is possible today with barely 8cm speakers, you can only give an extremely positive verdict. The BLACKSTAR FLY rocks !!!
