The sound is very good, from very low to very high tones. The headphones sit very comfortably, even with glasses. The ear pads are interchangeable, even against some velour.

The headphones have a good sound. However, the cable is quite short.

I bought the headphones for my e-drumset. The DIe sound quality is really excellent, but the maximum output volume is much too low. For playing on the e-drumset and also for use on a notebook or mobile phone, these headphones are unfortunately too quiet. Presumably, this does not matter in the studio area, because here you can level higher volumes than that is the case with end devices. For all other applications, the headphones are unfortunately not to use. The twisted cable is also rather annoying for other applications. Too bad.

My first studio headphones were the AKG K92 were good until I took over the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 Ohm from a colleague and the sound difference is really quite different

Overall, a very good headphone. Quite light and with good wearing comfort, however, he sits quite tight. Very good shielding (closed headphones). Best suited for use on smartphone and / or tablet. On my Focusrite "Interface" it does not quite come up to my Fostex TH600 - but that is also a different price range. Recommendable.

I am very satisfied with the headphones! I am surprised that the volume is perfect when used with a mixer, as well as on the iPad...! We were recommended the 32oHm, but it was a good idea to buy the 80oHm. Thanks to the entire Kirstein team for the great service, and thanks to Beyerdynamic for such a great product. ????????

I have already had good experiences with the Dt 880 Pro headphones from beyerdynamic and have therefore also decided to buy the closed headphones again for the brand. Very good quality at a reasonable price. Recommended.

Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro - 80 Ohm has great sound and arrived on time

Very nice sound compared to my old Hi-Fi headphones, more bass, more volume, just great!

The DT-770 Pro is a really good headphone, even a very good one for this price range. The impedance of 250 ohms is not a disadvantage with an audio interface, especially not with a headphone amplifier. The sound is convincing, good bass, fine treble and great transparency as well as best localization of all tracks. I already had three good headphones, all from AKG, but the Beyerdynamik surpasses them all. I use them for recording, but they also do a good job for mixing. What I don't like is the coiled cable, I would have preferred a smooth cable, also you can't easily replace the cable like with my AKGs. Nevertheless, I do not regret the purchase, I would order it again.

High-quality manufactured, with high-quality cable, plug, mechanics. At most, the plush pads have a little too much "sweating potential" for "people with heat".

About the mechanics: When consciously listening to them, it becomes clear: Already the change from "on-ear" (in my case the SONY MDR-51, which in the 80s/90s outperformed the twice as expensive competition, or a Koss from the late 80s) to "over-ear" (like the DT-770) changes the wearing feeling and thus the listening experience (which most people ignore). With the DT-770 (due to "over-ear" shells) rather heavy, you feel shielded (yes, that's how it should be), but can, felt, listen better.

When changing headphones several times it becomes clear: the closed DT-770 even delivers slightly more powerful bass than the open SONY, the small midrange "dip" between 3 and 4 kHz in the frequency response (compare http://en.goldenears.net/8535 ) is not noticed negatively.
Striking difference: The details in the overtones, e.g. from strings or from the analogue synthesizer, are heard much more clearly.

All in all: a successful transition from a good open upper mid-range KH to a closed KH (mandatory for vocal recordings).

Good for mixing. Too quiet for I Pad.... But I can recommend it for the studio.
