I have chosen the AKG K-271 MK II
because I already owned an AKG about 25 years ago and it was already very very good.
And have now already had some studio headphones but from the wearing comfort
and the sound I come back to the AKG they are simply the best.

PS: The AKG I bought 25 years ago had ca.17 years his services done.
This is the sound reality

I bought these headphones because I need real control over sound recordings and their subsequent processing. Unlike consumer products, it doesn't sugarcoat the sound - so it does exactly what I need when I'm processing sound. This is the only way I can get a realistic sound image. Therefore: full satisfaction.

Good, stable workmanship, neutral sound, many useful accessories: cable extension, two replacement earcups.

The closed system is recommended for live use or in the studio when recording to avoid crosstalk through playback signals to the microphone. I use many headphones in the studio, the AKG K 271 does not need to hide even from higher priced listeners. A good offer at Kirstein.
It's still an AKG

although AKG is no longer what it used to be. The sound is balanced, as described in the product description. The headphones are lightweight, comfortable to wear. The build quality is okay and has no flaws. As accessories there are 2 connection cables to choose from, a straight, long and a slightly shorter, curled. Connector plug as described in the product description.

I bought these headphones as a replacement for my previous pair, also from AKG. I bought my previous headphones in 1985 for 129 DM. It's still in working order, still sounds good and doesn't look very worn out. I think AKG outdid themselves with this product back then.
