Headpiece out of nickel silver or wood?

The body of PF flutes are made of a composite material in which the wood is reinforced with carbon. This results in a particularly robust and waterproof material. While flutes with a headpiece made of this material produce a rather soft and round sound, flutes with nickel silver headpieces sound brighter and more brilliant overall.
