Very good and important for me is that this Aulos easily reaches the highest possible notes, i.e. above the high a, the b, the c and the high d. Not all plastic flutes achieve this. Not all plastic flutes can do that, e.g. the Classic Cantabile Tenor, which I also have, can't do that either.
The short scale length of the Aulos 211A is very pleasant, as this tenor flute does not need keys. Here you can play longer without the right hand hurting from spreading the fingers over time. These problems are more likely to occur with smaller fingers on a tenor flute with keys.
I also play the Aulos tenor flute 511B (with keys), which probably sounds a little better and more powerful on the lower notes, but it costs considerably more at about 110 Euros. However, the 511B has the big disadvantage that pressing the keys for the low f, the low d and the low c is so noisy that I - and also the flute teacher - find it a rather annoying background noise. You don't have this disadvantage with the 211A.
