Equipment

The instrument has a smooth-running key mechanism made out of silver-plated nickel silver with an E-flat lever. Two bulbs allow different tuning of the woodwind instrument. Both the pears and the cup are equipped with a wooden bead, which has a positive effect on the response and vibration characteristics. The Lechgold BK-20/18 is a great instrument for the ambitious amateur musician.

Sound

Typical for Boehm clarinets is the richness of overtones, which also applies to this instrument. The somewhat higher weight of this instrument provides for significantly more sonority.

Mouthpiece and reed

In cooperation with Claus Raumberger, music journalist and author of "Das Saxophon", the range of clarinet mouthpieces was expanded. The result is the RCR.3, which delivers a strong, dark tone with voluminous depth, round head notes and powerful clarino register. In addition, a Vandoren reed in thickness of 2.0 and a reed screw are included in the delivery.

Case

The entire package comes in a lightweight and sturdy case, which is equipped with 2 exterior pockets and backpack straps. While the small attached pocket has quick access to essentials, the large compartment has separate pockets for check cards, business cards, pens and more.
