Unfortunately, I have often noticed that the strings from D'daddario sometimes has dark spots already after unpacking. But strings in the plastic bag are still exposed to the air. Corrosion does not stop there. Other manufacturers additionally pack the strings in paper envelopes. Very well. I still think to use the D'addarios. The playability and the sound optimization are very pleasant. Can be recommended.
