I have tried many strings, some of them expensive. But I always come back to these. For my Strat just the right thing. They do not last as long as coated strings, which is of course a certain disadvantage. But they deliver exactly the classic sound and a great feel, I do not want to make any compromises.

(nickel platet). The proof of the pudding is in the eating (as grandma used to say) and lo and behold.
Wonderful smooth, mellow sounds that don't deny the Tele sound. The hard rock board is no longer there. So nothing for the really wild gait.
Singer-songwriter chords with a pinch of chorus, blues with a bit of overdrive, county not quite so biting and old school rock are in the sound spectrum.
As I have ordered a Sqier Thinline, I will use these strings on it and convert the current one back to rockboard
One black wild and one blonde mellow. It remains to be seen whether my 65 year old heart can take it for long.
