Mit drei Pedalen in einer kompakten Einheit bietet das RPU-3 das Pedal-Gefühl eines Flügels. Separate Klinkenausgänge für jedes der drei Pedale sorgen dafür, dass das RPU-3 zu Keyboards wie Rolands neuem FP-7F und den RD-700-Serien-Pianos kompatibel ist. Zusätzlich zu den Flügel Piano-Funktionen ermöglicht das RPU-3 die Steuerung verschiedener Instrumenten-Funktionen wie z.B. des FP-7F Loopers und der Harmony-Effekte.
