Das für Nachbarn als störend empfundene dumpfe Pochen tiefer Frequenzen kann so auf ein Mindestmaß gedämmt werden. Als Matte zum vollflächigen Unterlegen dient es gleichzeitig als idealer Schutz vor aufsteigender Wärme bei Fußbodenheizung.
