The keys brake from Classic Cantabile prevents the keyboard cover of your piano from accidentally dropping. Thus, the sturdy accessory not only protects the instrument, but also valuable pianist fingers.
Stable and durable
The hydraulic brake consists of a small oil pressure spring, which sits in a sturdy frame made of metal. When closing the piano, the keyboard cover is simply placed on the keyboard brake, thereby slowly lowering the cover. The entire action is only glued to the piano. The prerequisite for this is that there is still at least 3 cm of space available next to the keyboard for the key brake. The underside of the piano cover is protected with a gold-colored metal strip so that the two rollers do not have direct contact with the surface of the instrument.

The brake prevents the key cover from dropping quickly, which has more than just acoustic benefits. In addition to preventing a loud banging noise, it also protects the keyboard instrument itself, as hard impacts will damage the case over time.
