Die Shure UA874 ist eine aktive, logarithmisch-periodische Richtantenne. Im Vergleich mit einer Rundstrahlantenne bietet die UA874 einen verbesserten Empfang des gewünschten Erfassungsbereichs und eine stärkere Unterdrückung von HF-Signalen außerhalb des Erfassungsbereichs.
Ein integriertes Gewinde erlaubt die Montage auf Stative.
