Use Your Computer as a Music Studio!
The Pronomic UXLRJ USB-XLR/Jack audio interface turns any commercial stage microphone with an XLR connector into a professional studio microphone in no time. This eliminates the need for heavy and bulky audio interfaces or the purchase of an additional USB microphone. The UXLRJ is a cost-effective alternative so that you can continue to use your conventional microphone.
Integrated Converter
The UXLRJ interface converts the audio signals of a connected microphone so that these can be used with a computer to record. The UXLRJ is compatible with Mac OSX, Windows 98/2000/VISTA/XP/7. The recording can be used with standard Windows tools like Sound Recorder, Freeware Sequencers such Reaper and Audacity as well as professional sequencers like Cubase, Nuendo, Ableton Live, Fruity Loops, etc. (software not included).
The 6.35 mm jack makes it possible to connect a monitor speaker, in order to create a comfortable listening environment and listen to the recording directly in the rehearsal room.
Plug & Play ready
To use the audio cable, you don't need to install a driver (Plug & Play), and you don't need any additional power source. So you can get started immediately with the recording - even on a notebook computer! The UXLRJ interface is ideal for Podcasts, home studio recording, for spontaneous clips in the rehearsal room or for recordings on stage. Just plug in and play!
Compact and Strong
Measuring in at only 23 cm long and only xx g, th XLRJ USB XLR/jack cable saves space and can be taken anywhere in your laptop bag.

What happens is what you would expect, the thing is recognized as a USB audio interface, there is the input port with XLR and at the jack plug you have a USB audio output. In the control panel of PulseAudio is also nice to see.
The only weak point, the level of the microphone is now not so extremely high, so you have to pull the sliders in the audio mixer quite far. But on the other hand, this records sufficiently well, a first recording session with Audacity went satisfactorily.
Questions about product
Question by Micha on 02.03.2024
Is the XLR input suitable for connecting and recording an electric guitar?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Theoretically, it is possible if you have a cable that has a mono jack plug and an XLR plug. However, we generally recommend a connection via a jack cable.
Question by Sebastian on 09.01.2018
Hello!
Is it possible to use the jack plug as input for musical instruments?
Thanks lg
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The 6.35 mm jack plug provides the option of connecting a monitor box, amplifier, etc. to create a comfortable listening situation and directly sample the recorded material.
This plug functions as an audio output. It cannot be used as an input for musical instruments.
