Powerful speaker

The C-118SA has an 18" speaker which is driven by a 3" voice coil. In combination with the 800 watt (RMS) power amplifier, a maximum volume of 126 dB is achieved.

Sensible technology

The subwoofer has two line inputs in combo format, and there are two XLR outputs for forwarding the signal. With the help of the rotary control and the display, all important settings can be made intuitively. The LED on the front shows whether there is power (blue) or whether the internal limiter is intervening (red). Alternatively, the LED can also be switched off completely.

DSP presets and other settings

There are 4 sound presets on board for the various applications:

• Live: Very linear with a very low cutoff frequency
• Music: Slight bass boost at 50 Hz
• DJ: Stronger bass boost at 50 Hz
• C-Series: Matched filters for the Pronomic C-Series boxes

In order to achieve the best possible sound results, the crossover frequency of the subwoofer can be adjusted to suit the tweeter. Furthermore, the polarity and a delay of up to 16 ms can be set.

Stable housing

The sturdy MDF boards with a thickness of 15 mm are provided with an insensitive textured varnish. There are generous handles on both sides. As it should be in the professional sector, the box flange has a M20 thread for satellite speakers.
