That's how you pick it up!

Small diaphragm microphones are specially designed for miking acoustic instruments and percussion. The small diaphragm ensures a detailed resolution, especially in the high/mid range, and the high sensitivity and special frequency response makes these microphones ideal for picking up instruments from a greater distance (>30cm).

The Pronomic SCM-1 is a professional and reasonably priced microphone for the corresponding applications. A gold-coated 1/2" diaphragm ensures crystal-clear transmission with low inherent noise at maximum sensitivity. The cardioid polar pattern ensures maximum flexibility for a wide range of applications.

Everything included

If you want to create high-quality recordings, there is no way around using a microphone suspension. Since studio microphones also react very sensitively to low-frequency impact sound, these microphones are mechanically decoupled from the microphone stand with the help of a suspension. Next to the two microphone suspensions there is a 30 cm long stereo rail for precise adjustment of the microphones.

Simple design with great effectiveness

Since the microphone holders are completely rubber-mounted, vibrations from the microphone stand hardly penetrate the microphone capsule. This results in significantly better speech and vocal recordings than with a conventional microphone clamp.

Quick to install and saves space

The stereo rail is mounted on a microphone stand, the two suspensions are positioned on the rail at a certain distance and angle to each other, depending on the recording type. The elastically mounted microphone clamps are located in the stable frames. The clamps themselves can be opened with two large brackets to insert the microphones. A thin foam rubber insert protects the microphone from accidental scratches.
