The KDJ-1000 provides a full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear treble. It offers a whole lot of volume, yet a clean and clear location in the stereo field.

Of course, the soft padded, wide headband is adjustable in length. The entire headset is foldable to save space to store. For work on the console, the comfortable ear cups can be rotated by 180 °, and thus permit the classic"single ear monitoring". The thick, soft padding of the circumaural earcups also ensures a good noise attenuation.

The headphones have a long coiled cord that can be pulled down to about 3.5 m. Also the most widely active DJ can move freely behind the plate counter. The 3.5 mm stereo jack plug is gold plated for improved transmission properties and an adapter to 6.3 mm jack (stereo) is also included. Furthermore, the headphones come with a handy pouch for safekeeping.
