In addition to the high output of up to 6000 watts, the HP-2000 also offers very flexible handling in terms of input gain, frequency filter and connections. All the usual protection circuits are of course on board.

Stereo and mono mode

With its two channels, the power amplifier can send a right and a left audio signal to the connected speakers passed on. In "Bridged" mode, the power of both channels is used for a single mono signal in order to achieve a higher performance.

Selectable input sensitivity

For optimal operation with speaker controllers, the HP-2000 has a selector switch for 0.77V, 1.0V or 32dB.

Selectable crossover frequency

Both channels have a selectable crossover frequency between 25 and 150 Hz, which can be used as a high-pass or low-pass filter can function.

All important protective circuits are of course integrated:

• The power soft-start function prevents overloading the mains when the power amplifier is switched on
• The output DC protection constantly checks whether DC components are present at the loudspeaker outputs and switches off the outputs in case of correspondingly bad signals. This prevents the destruction of the loudspeaker coils due to excessive DC components reliably prevented
• The integrated clip limiter reliably prevents overdriving of the power amplifier. Here, already on the part of the Output stage prevents DC components from being created in the circuit
• The sophisticated thermal monitoring and fan control ensures smooth continuous operation even with High loads
• Standard protection circuits such as short-circuit protection are a matter of course and of course also present here
