Die Custom 24 ist die PRS-Gitarre schlechthin: die legendäre Gitarre, mit der 1985 alles begann.
Die Custom 24-08 behält alle grundlegenden Eigenschaften des Instruments bei, während sie die Custom-Plattform in neue klangliche Gefilde führt. Wie das Instrument der Core-Serie verfügt die SE Custom 24-08 über zwei Mini-Kippschalter, die die Humbucker einzeln in echte Single-Coils aufteilen, so dass insgesamt acht Pickup-Konfigurationen möglich sind. Zu den klassischen Designelementen gehören eine Ahorndecke, ein Mahagoni-Boden, ein Palisander-Griffbrett, 24 Bünde, eine 25-Zoll-Mensur, Vogel-Inlays, ein charakteristisches Kopfplatten-Logo und ein von PRS patentiertes, geformtes Tremolo.
