The price-performance ratio is just right here! A great guitar with a great sound at a "small" price.
Playability and string action are ok from the factory. There is still room for improvement, but the sound is impeccable.

I just had to get used to the slightly higher weight at the beginning.

But I'm a huge fan of the guitar and currently play it exclusively in my stoner rock band.

Excellent workmanship, best fret purity, super lateral position, great sound!
Did not even have to retune - incredible!
Am thrilled, perfect!
Arrived completely flawless - thanks to the best packaging and a little luck - with me.
I have besides Jackson, Gibson and Hoyer various other guitars and this Gretsch
can keep up with them all, from soft to hard rock/heavy.
Have read the other comments about the g5222 , there is talk of minor defects -
with me everything is perfect.
Price / performance is also completely i.O. and so I recommend this g 5222 for beginners just as
as for professionals!
