Die Custom 24 ist die PRS-Gitarre schlechthin. Dieses ikonische Instrument war das erste Modell, das Paul Reed Smith auf der ersten Winter-NAMM-Show von PRS Guitars im Jahr 1985 der Öffentlichkeit vorstellte, und ist seither ein Topseller.
Die Custom 24 wird von international tourenden Künstlern, Musikern und aufstrebenden Spielern gespielt. Sie verfügt über das patentierte Gen IIII Tremolosystem von PRS und PRS 85/15 Tonabnehmer mit Lautstärke- und Tonregler sowie einem 5-Wege-Klingenschalter. Die 85/15-Tonabnehmer wurden von Paul Reed Smith persönlich entwickelt, um eine bemerkenswerte Klarheit und einen erweiterten Hoch- und Tieftonbereich zu bieten.
Die Custom 24 ist die ursprüngliche PRS. Seit ihrer Einführung bietet sie eine einzigartige klangliche Option für ernsthafte Spieler und definiert den PRS-Ton und die Spielbarkeit.
