Die Meinl Wave Drums kreieren die wohltuenden Klänge der Meeresbrandung mit einer Besonderheit: die kleinen Metallkügelchen sind zwischen zwei verschiedenen Schlagfellen eingeschlossen - einem Kunststofffell und einem handselektiertem Ziegenfell. Dadurch kann zwischen zwei komplett unterschiedlichen Klangfarben gewählt werden. Mit der verschließbaren Einfüllöffnung kann die Menge der Metallkügelchen individuell reguliert werden.

All in all, a good instrument. The only downer for me is that the skin side has a large scar and a very roughened area. When I asked (with a picture) I was told that these spots are not a quality problem.
