Mit den Instrumenten der Primary-Serie vereint SONOR Nachhaltigkeit und hochwertigen Klang für den Einsatz in der Musikpädagogik. Sowohl das Birkensperrholz der Resonanzkästen, als auch die Holzklangplatten aus afrikanischem Pao Rosa sind FSC-zertifiziert und stammen ausschließlich aus nachhaltiger Forstwirtschaft. Wie bei allen Orff-Serien werden auch die Holzoberflächen bei Primary mit ökologischem Proterra-Lack behandelt, um einen gefahrlosen Einsatz in jeder Altersgruppe zu gewährleisten. Darüber hinaus sind die Klangplatten aller Stabspiele mit einem Notenlinienaufdruck ausgestattet, der beim Lernen und Lehren von Musik unterstützt.
