Das Byzance Vintage Smack Stack besteht aus drei speziell geformten B20-Bronzediscs, die einen einzigartigen Sound erzeugen.
Dieser kann durch Spannen oder Entspannen der Beckenschraube zusätzlich verändert werden. Eine stärkere Spannung führt zu einem knackigen Attack und kurzen Sustain - ideal für kurze Akzente, wogegen eine lockere Spannung zu einem längeren Sustain führt.
Das Smack Stack funktioniert besonders gut in Kombination mit einer Snare für eingehende Backbeats oder komplett als Snare Ersatz.
