Some reviews on the Internet, which I had read before the purchase, complained about too little thickness of the carpet, so I had my doubts whether the carpet was robust enough. However, since I found no better alternative (the options from the hardware store etc have not convinced me), I ordered it anyway. The doubts were unfounded - the drum carpet is sufficiently thick.
