In the past I always damped my skins with tape and Tempo handkerchiefs. This had the disadvantage that if you wanted to undo the damping, residues remained on the skin and it was often difficult to estimate the appropriate amount of material used for the desired sound. With the Moongel Pads this is much easier. They stick independently, can be removed as easily as without residue and improve the sound the way I want it.
