Hello! I am left-handed and want to learn to play the guitar. This Yamaha would suit me very well. And my guitar teacher said you can't go wrong with Yamaha. As a beginner, you can't go wrong with the C40. However, I wouldn't re-string the guitar because the notches on the nut might not match the string gauges and that can lead to problems. Can a strap (Ernie Ball) be attached to the guitar?
