Ortegas umfangreichste Kollektion, die Performer-Serie, baut auf den Eigenschaften der Family Pro-Serie auf, indem sie die traditionelle spanische Fersenkonstruktion mit moderner Ausstattung verbindet. Die Gitarren der Performer-Serie sind in Full- und Thinline-Korpustiefen, Cutaway- und Non-Cutaway-Konfigurationen erhältlich und verfügen über eine Vielzahl von Glanzlackierungen, massive Decken und spielerfreundliche schlanke Hälse.
Die neue Ortega RCE138-T4BK ist eine Erweiterung der sehr erfolgreichen Performer Series. Der Korpus dieser Konzertgitarre besteht aus einer massiven Fichtendecke mit Mahagoni Boden und Zargen. Das Kürzel T4BK steht für "thin line", "14th fret heel-to-body connection" und die Farbe "black". Dieses thin body Modell hat eine Korpustiefe von ca. 85 mm und ist mit einem konvexen Griffbrett (380mm) ausgestattet. Die Ortega RCE138-T4BK verfügt über eine 12-Loch Brücke, die zu einer Verbesserung von Klang und Stimmstabilität führt und für eine schnellere Ansprache der Decke sorgt. Eine weitere Neuerung ist die neue Ortega MagusPro Elektronik.
